We are thrilled to participate in the Pilgrimage Festival on September 26–27. The Pilgrimage is in its first year, thus they will be depending on our interns and students to make it happen. This two-day festival just outside of Nashville will feature performances by musicians including Wilco, Willie Nelson, Weezer, Dawes, Sheryl Crow, Band of Horses, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Cage The Elephant, and many more. Our collaboration with the Pilgrimage provides our students and interns with a fantastic chance to receive first-hand experience managing a sizable music event with A-list acts. Students will assist with numerous festival requirements, including setting up stages, running cables and backline, interacting with artists and VIPs, and more. These are the chances for practical experience. We like to give as much as we can to our pupils. You pick up knowledge in this field by doing.

The majority of the instructors and employees at Dark Horse Institute have worked in the music industry, with a very small number of outliers. We are aware that real industry connections are created while working at these events. During these extended festival days, do fantastic job and maintain a fantastic attitude? People that matter WILL pay attention.

In addition, we’re thrilled about a significant event that will coincide with the Pilgrimage Festival and take place just outside our DHI studios. The Pilgrimage Sessions will be held over the weekend. Many of the greatest Pilgrimage artists will be performing at these exclusive in-studio events. These performances will be captured on tape in our studios with the aid of DHI technology and a few chosen interns and students. We can’t say who is coming by, but rest certain that they are well-known individuals. Both the website of Paste Magazine and noisetrade.com will webcast these concerts. Live interviews will also be aired on Periscope via Noisetrade. Use the official hashtag #PilgrimageSessions to follow all the events this weekend on our social media platforms.
