April 1: Damien Rice at Ryman Auditorium
Irish singer-songwriter Damine Rice performs worldwide. On September 13th, 2007, he gave his final performance at the Ryman, and it was a moving performance that kept the audience silent the whole time. Just two hours of songs and storytelling, no frills or flashy light shows. His passing was bittersweet.

The song debuted at #1 in Ireland, #2 in Holland, #3 in Belgium, and #7 in the United Kingdom. The album’s lead song, “I Don’t Want to Change You,” was also performed by Rice on “The Late Show with David Letterman.”
