When lovers of music production become accomplished audio engineers, there’s more to it than meets the eye. Successful audio engineers and music producers have a combination of knowledge, training, people skills, hard effort, and being in the right place at the right time. The Hansen brothers, Spencer and Cebron, are featured in this month’s DHI Graduate Spotlight. By building their own recording studio in Seattle, Washington, these two have turned their love of recording into a family business.

Since their time at Dark Horse Institute, the dynamic combo has collaborated with Mitch Malloy (Van Halen, solo artist), Reed Ruddy (Macklemore, Halo 3 soundtrack), and Martin Feveyear (Brandi Carlile, Kings of Leon).
